Fairy Falls is located in the Columbia River Gorge above Wahkeena Falls. Taking the Wahkeena Falls trail you will hike up a steep and scenic trail leading to this falls. There is about 15 switchbacks on this hike and you gain roughly 1100 feet in about a mile. Fairy Falls is not a big waterfall in comparison to the many waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge. It is only about 20 feet high, but what it lacks in height in makes up for in shear beauty.
